Class Pass- Should I Get It? Newbie Perspective

I never really considered trying Class Pass until I moved to Milwaukee, but I’m so happy that I finally did.

8 Things You Should Know About The App:

  1. You are able to try a variety of classes. Lately I’ve been into reformer pilates and yoga, so this was a great way to be able to try different studios in a new city before committing to one.

  2. Points system- you pay for a certain number of points a month, and the points are used to purchase a class. Classes range from 4-10 points depending on how booked that slot is.

  3. Easy “add to calendar” feature.

  4. Rollover points- if you don’t use all of your points, they carry over to the next month.

  5. They offer more than just fitness classes. You can book wellness services like facials, massages, waxing, sauna sessions, and more.

  6. Being able to use this in most major cities when traveling! If you are in LA, NY, or Chicago, you will find better wellness services.

  7. Cancellation fees. I’m annoyed to admit that I have canceled classes and have had to pay a $15 fee to do so. This can be a positive for accountability purposes.

  8. The studio members will have first access to booking, leaving Class Pass members with whatever is left. Sometimes a class turns out to be cheaper than a standard drop in because of the time or fullness of the class.

Overall, I have had a really positive experience with this app and it has helped me get to know Milwaukee a little bit more!
